3 Safety Tips for Your Summer Road Trips

Jun 26, 2017 | Uncategorized

It’s important to be well-prepared before you head out on your summer vacation. But it’s equally vital to stay safe while driving on the road! You should always put safety first before fun whenever you’re traveling. Our Rock Hill, SC auto body shop would like to offer the following safety tips for you to keep in mind while you’re out there on the road:

  1. Get your car serviced – Before you head out on your trip, stop by a mechanic to get your car serviced and checked out. If something was wrong with your car, you’ll want it fixed before you head out. After all, you don’t want to be stranded with a broken down car in a place you aren’t familiar with. You should also get any suspected automobile frame damage checked out by an auto body shop. Frame damage can lead to improper tire wear, reduced gas mileage, and can even be dangerous.
  2. Seat belts are life-saving – Seat belts may be uncomfortable for some, but they can mean life or death in the case of an accident. Always buckle up!
  3. Do not drink and drive – Please don’t drink and drive. You can put yourself and innocent people in life-threatening situations when driving under the influence. There’s no shame in calling for a taxi or ridesharing service or asking a sober friend to drive if you’ve had to much to drink.

At Carolina Collision & Frame we want you to enjoy your vacation, but we also want you to be safe. But if you should happen to get in an accident while you’re on the road, we’ll be here to help. Call our Rock Hill, SC auto body shop for quality repairs on all makes and models.
